Handmade stoneware ceramic cup. 

Made with an earthy clay and fired in a reduction kiln to provide the distinctive speckle, as part of our Forest range. A reduction firing is where the chemistry of the clay and glaze is manipulated during firing by starving  the atmosphere of oxygen. This process draws the iron out of the body of the earthy clay I use and creates the much loved speckle. Glazed in white matte with a feature of exposed clay at the base.

For lovers of generous cups of tea and coffee with approximately 300 ml capacity.  This cup is perfect to hold in your hands.   

Dimensions are approximately 8cm high and 9.5cm at the rim, not including the handle.
