Handmade stoneware ceramic travel cup with a silicon lid. 

Made with an warm earthy clay and fired in a reduction kiln to provide a subtle speckle. A reduction firing is where the chemistry of the clay and glaze is manipulated during firing by starving  the atmosphere of oxygen. This process draws the iron out of the body of the clay and creates the much loved speckle. Glazed in a matte blue with a feature of exposed clay at the base.

For lovers of a double shot it can hold up to 12oz and comes with a neat fitting silicon lid.

The design has been refined and improved.  These cups were perfect when I was working in an office and took a trip to the cafe each morning to collect a coffee. They are made slightly thicker on the bottom half and with a rim at the base to make them easier to hold when hot.

Dimensions are approximately 9cm high and 8.5m at the rim..
