Handmade stoneware ceramic tumbler cup. 

Made with an earthy clay and fired in a reduction kiln to provide the distinctive speckle, as part of our Forest range. Glazed in a matte white with a feature of exposed clay at the base. This colour is inspired by misty mornings and the Monga Mist that passes through Braidwood on warm evenings.

A reduction firing is where the chemistry of the clay and glaze is manipulated during firing by starving kiln atmosphere of oxygen. This process draws the iron out of the body of the earthy clay I use and creates the much loved speckle. 

For lovers of generous cups of tea and coffee with approximately 370 ml capacity.  This cup is lovely for cold drinks too. Perhaps even a botanical G&T or wine.  

Dimensions are approximately 9.5 cm high and 8cm at the rim.
